Dance exams are a great mid year goal for our students. Syllabus classes prep for the first half of the year towards these exams and students feel a great sense of achievement and pride once completed. Students then progress through their genre levels from year to year.

WHEN?
Exams take place mid year and can fall anywhere between the end of Term 2 – mid Term 3.
COST?
Exam entry fees depend on the examination level however fees can range from $50 – $250.
Eligibility
To be eligible to sit an exam at Neverland Studios you must be doing the following:
- Attending the compulsory classes suitable for your exam
- Wearing the appropriate uniform for your exam
- Attending any extra holiday/intensive courses that are scheduled for your exam
- Practising at home
WHO
All dancers that are following the above guidelines are eligible to sit an exam however the decision to enter a student in an exam is that of the teachers. Exam students must be showing great technique and performance quality, they must also be regularly attending class and practising in their own time. All exam students must show a positive attitude towards the syllabus, their teacher and their peers.
BALLET – ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE (RAD)
RAD exams set standards in classical ballet and are a global leader in Continuing Professional Development for dance. Founded in 1920, today RAD have a presence in 84 countries, with around 14,000 members worldwide. RAD count more than 1,000 students in our teacher training programmes and more than a quarter of a million students are being examined in RAD syllabi.
